Transformation of the Day: Pash lost 72 pounds. The proud mother of three daughters is determined to be a happy, healthy example for them. She has worked hard since 2019 to figure out what mix of healthy eating habits and exercise works for her.
My name is Pash, and I am from St. Louis, MO! I’m a 33-year-old, wife and mom of three.
What was your motivation?
I know this sounds weird, but my motivation was me. I wanted to be happy in my skin. I wanted to feel comfortable again when I shopped or went out with my husband, family, and friends. More importantly, I want to be healthy for my daughters who watch my EVERY MOVE. I want them to grow up to be healthy, balanced adults and have a healthy relationship with food.
How did you change your eating habits?
I have a low-carb, high-protein lifestyle. (little to no sugar, lean protein) I also cut back on liquor last year when I lost the bulk of my weight. I may have had 3 or 4 alcoholic drinks during 2020. I enjoy a cheat meal or two on the weekends and then, I eat pretty clean all week.
I also had an amazing wellness coach who guided me using Herbalife products, and the rest is history. Now I’m a coach with Herbalife helping others as well.
I drink a ton of water, and I love cooking. I love to find ways to make healthy food delicious, non-boring, and nutritious. I have a ton of recipes on my IG page for people to refer to as well.
What did your workout routine consist of? How often did you work out?
Before the pandemic, I was up at 5 am to go to the gym because I didn’t want to sacrifice time in the evening with my three small daughters and fine husband. I used the Stairmaster during every single gym session and did lots of cardio. I can’t stress enough: DO NOT SKIP THE STAIR MASTER, lol.
During the pandemic, I worked out 3 to 5 days a week outside. First, I power walked. Then power walking turned into jogging, and jogging turned into running. Not only did it get me out of the house, but it got my girls out of the house to burn off some energy too. It was our quality time. It is important for my girls to see me physically active and eating healthy.

I started at 270 pounds, and I currently weigh 198 pounds.

I started in October 2019 after a girl’s trip I went on in August 2019. I felt SO gross and unhappy with how I looked during that entire trip. On the plane, the seat belt could barely fit around me. That’s when I knew I had to do something. It’s taken two years to lose 70 lbs, but it doesn’t even feel like it. Time flew!
Is weight loss surgery part of your journey?
No weight loss surgery! All-natural!
What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned so far? What advice do you have for women who want to lose weight?
The biggest lessons I’ve learned:
- Learn to Fall in love with the journey. Don’t be upset or get mad when you can’t cheat whenever you want or when you slip up. Be happy with making better, healthier choices for your body. Thank yourself and have grace with yourself for even trying. This will help you change your MINDSET, which is 100000% what will help you be successful in your weight loss journey. It’s a mindset.
- The scale matters, but it doesn’t matter. Focus on how you feel and how your clothes are fitting. The scale can be extremely discouraging.
- There are no excuses when it comes to weight loss. When you’re fed up, you will find the time/effort/dedication to make your weight loss happen.
- Don’t worry about what your family is doing. Don’t worry if people bring donuts to work. It doesn’t matter if you’re out to eat with friends. Stick to your plan to achieve your goals. Life is gonna life. You can’t let it stop you from reaching your goals.
